We’re delighted to share our recent website design and development project for Hylton’s Restaurant Bowness, a fantastic steakhouse and grill nestled on a charming cobbled street in Bowness-on-Windermere. At Torque, we love partnering with businesses that offer exceptional experiences, and our goal was to create an online presence that perfectly captures the warm atmosphere and delicious offerings of Hylton’s.

Hylton’s Bowness sought a website that would serve as an inviting digital storefront, showcasing their focus on high-quality grilled steaks, burgers, and fish. The site needed to be informative, easy to navigate, and reflect the restaurant’s commitment to great food in a welcoming setting.

Our Contribution: 
We focused on developing a website that:

• Highlights the Cuisine: Emphasizes their specialties, such as their popular 1kg Tomahawk Steak and 40-day aged Aberdeen Angus beef, with clear menu sections (Lunch, Food, Kids, Drinks).
• Conveys the Atmosphere: Uses design elements that evoke the “warm atmosphere” of the restaurant, inviting visitors to imagine their dining experience.
• Provides Essential Information: Clearly communicates practical details like their walk-in policy, opening hours (12 noon – 9 pm daily), and convenient location on Ash Street.
• Is User-Friendly: Ensures visitors can easily find menus, contact information, and understand what makes Hylton’s a must-visit dining spot in the Lake District.
